Processing

There are numerous tools for editing photographs, making it easier to achieve the desired effect. In fact, they are not much different from the techniques used by the pioneers of color photography with traditional tools such as film, developing, and printing. However, today the result is not only predictable but also immediate, which carries the risk that the tools may take over, not necessarily a bad thing at times. I like a photograph made in a single shot, free of additions or removals. All images published in these galleries were created by modifying contrast, light and color from a single exposure. An exception may be panoramic photographs with multiple shots summed horizontally or vertically and some older ones taken in HDR.
